Allocate places automatically by lottery

When the lottery phase has ended, have fepli distribute the places of all offers in a season. Families learn the result only when you commit it.

Prerequisites

  • Account type Admin.
  • The lottery phase has ended. fepli does not check this. An allocation during the lottery phase distributes only the registrations received up to then.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar under Seasons, select the season.
  2. Switch to the Allocate places tab.
  3. Select Automatic allocation.
  4. Under Registrations without a place, select put on the waiting list or set to “no place”.
  5. If offers below their minimum number are to take place anyway, turn on Also allocate offers that do not reach the minimum number of participants.

Warning

The automatic allocation cannot be undone.

  1. Select Start automatic allocation.
  2. Reload the page after a moment. While the draw is running, the page is locked.

From the season in the sidebar via Allocate places to Automatic allocation, which opens the dialog Automatic allocation.

Result

The registrations not yet processed have the status takes part, on waiting list or no place and are in the batch. Families still see “Waiting for allocation”.
