Send a sign-in link to an account
If someone cannot get into the admin panel, e.g. because they do not have their passkey at hand, send them a one-time sign-in link. With it they sign in without a password and without a passkey.
Prerequisites
- Account type Admin. For admin accounts you must be a super admin, and the installation must allow sign-in links for admins. For participant accounts you need the role View and create participants.
- The account has an email address. If the person gives a new address, enter it in the account first: Change an account's email address. The sign-in link is sent to the new address as soon as the person has confirmed it.
- You have verified that the request comes from the person themselves, e.g. by calling back on a number already stored in the account.
Steps
- Select Accounts.
- In the search field, enter the name or the email address, e.g.
name@example.org. - In the account's actions menu (⋮), select Send sign-in link.
- In the dialog, select Send sign-in link.
