ManualReferenceApp-StoreAdmins
CMS
With the app CMS, a tenant maintains its own website for families in the content management system.
Location: Settings > App-Store > card CMS. Visible to: super admins.
Group: Website > CMS, included. Provider: Contao. The CMS runs on fepli's server.
Catalogue, states and structure of an app are described in App-Store.
What the app does
| In the section What it does |
|---|
| “Provides the tenant’s website, with pages, articles, forms and files.” |
| “Shows the offers, registration and the families’ account there.” |
| “Runs on fepli’s server; nothing is transferred.” |
| In the section How to use it |
|---|
| “The “CMS” link is at the bottom left of the admin panel. It opens the CMS in an area of its own.” |
| “When you switch it on, fepli creates the website’s home page – unpublished until you release it.” |
Card in the catalogue: “Your own website for families: you maintain pages, texts and images in the CMS.”
Behaviour
| Feature | Content |
|---|---|
| Access | No credentials |
| Default | In installations with tenants: switched on if the tenant already has a website in the CMS, otherwise switched off. A tenant that is created with a website of its own starts switched on. In installations without tenants: switched on. |
| Requirement | The tenant has a domain with the purpose Public site (Settings: System configuration). Otherwise the app shows “Not connected.” with “The tenant has no domain with the purpose “Public site”. Add one first.” and can only be closed. |
| Switch on | If the tenant has no home page in the CMS yet, fepli creates it: unpublished, on its first domain with the purpose Public site. Home pages that switching off took offline are published again. A home page that was unpublished before stays unpublished. |
| Switched on | The admin panel shows the link CMS. It opens the content management system of the website (Interface). Who gets in is listed under Roles and permissions: Content management system. |
| Switch off | Confirmation: “The website will be offline. Pages and content are kept and are back once you switch it on again. Switch off?” fepli takes the tenant's published home pages offline and deletes nothing. Switched off, the app shows “The website is offline, and the “CMS” link is hidden. Pages and content are kept.” |
| Address of the link, switched off | Whoever calls the address of the link CMS reaches the dashboard: “The CMS is not switched on. You can switch it on in the App-Store.” |
| Domain removed | If the tenant loses its last domain with the purpose Public site, the app counts as switched off until one is entered again. |
Requirement
The section Requirement is part of the app and shows, when the app opens, whether the tenant has a domain for its website. In installations without tenants it is omitted.
| Row | Content |
|---|---|
| Domain for the public site with a green tick | The tenant's domains with the purpose Public site, separated by commas |
| Domain for the public site with a red warning sign | “No domain with the purpose “Public site” on file.” Below it, Open the tenant’s domains leads to the System configuration. |
