Revoke a direct debit mandate
If a revocation has reached the team, for example by letter, by phone or from the bank, record it on the mandate. fepli then collects nothing more under it.
Prerequisites
- Role View and create payments.
- The app SEPA direct debit is switched on.
- The mandate is not revoked yet.
Steps
- Select Payments in the sidebar.
- Switch to Direct debit.
- Under Mandates, select the Account holder of the mandate.
Warning
In the interface, the revocation cannot be undone. fepli does not stop debits that you have already handed over to the treasury.
- Select Record revocation in the side panel.
- Confirm the prompt “Record the revocation? Nothing will be collected under the mandate any more.”

Mandate as PDFRecord revocation
Wording
Record the revocation? Nothing will be collected under the mandate any more.
The side panel of a mandate opens from the list Mandates.
Result
The message “Revocation of {reference} recorded.” appears, and the mandate has the State Revoked. Pending debits of the mandate appear under Mandate revoked, do not collect.
If it does not work
| Problem | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Record revocation is missing. | The mandate is already revoked. The State names the date and the name. |
| The debit is already handed over. | Ask the treasury to stop the debit. |
