Approve an organizer's registration

If an organizer has registered without an invitation, approve their account. fepli sends them a sign-in link in the process.

Prerequisites

  • Account type Admin.
  • Organizers is on under Fields.
  • The notification Organizer registered has arrived.
  • The registration is at most four days old. fepli deletes accounts that have not been approved after that.

Steps

  1. Select Accounts.
  2. Next to the search, select Organizers and, on the right, the List view.
  3. In the row with blocked after the name, select the actions menu ⋮ and then Edit.
  4. In the Details tab, review the details about the person and, under Assigned organizers, the organizer profile.
  5. Switch to the Access tab. Under Unblock account it says “Registration without invitation. Unblocking sends a sign-in link to {email}, valid for {count} days.”
  6. Select Unblock account.

The Accounts list, in front of it the account in the Access tab.

Result

The messages “{name} can sign in again.” and “{email} has received a sign-in link by email.” appear. With the link, the person signs in and can then set up a passkey.

If it does not work

ProblemRemedy
Under Unblock account it says “Sign-in is currently refused.”, and after unblocking no message about the sign-in link appears.The account had been approved before. At Sign-in link, select Send link and, in the dialog, Send sign-in link.
The person did not use the sign-in link in time.The link can be used only once and is valid for as long as Invitations valid for is set to. The person requests a new one on the sign-in page with Sign-in link by email, or you send them a sign-in link.
