Translate content
With the app Translate content, DeepL translates offers and page content of the website into the visitors' language.
Location: Settings > App-Store > card Translate content from DeepL SE. Visible to: super admins.
Group: Writing offers & proofs, several at the same time. Provider: DeepL, servers in Germany.
Independently of this app, the interface of the website exists in 19 languages: menus, buttons and forms. The app translates the content in addition.
Catalogue, states and structure of an app are described in App-Store.
What the app does
| In the section What it does |
|---|
| “The website’s interface already comes in 19 languages. The app adds what you wrote yourself.” |
| “Translates offers, categories, page content, frequent questions and consent texts when someone opens the website in another language.” |
| “Stores each translation and reuses it for the same text.” |
| “Without the app this content stays in the website’s language.” |

| “Nothing new is added to the admin panel.” |
Card in the catalogue: “Translates offers and page content into the visitor’s language. The interface is translated already.”
Behaviour
| Feature | Content |
|---|---|
| Access | API key from the DeepL account, required field |
| Connected | If someone opens the website in a language other than that of the website, fepli translates offers, categories, page content, frequent questions and consent texts. A translation is saved and reused for the same text. |
| Disconnected | The content is in the language of the website. The interface stays translated, and the addresses of the languages such as /en/ stay reachable. |
In fepli
The translations are on the website as soon as someone opens it in another language.
The canoe trip in English; where the language selection is placed depends on the layout of the website.
