| Rule | Content |
|---|---|
| Kind of error | Permanent: bounce or drop — the address does not exist or accepts nothing. Temporary: deferred or never delivered — usually it works on the second attempt. Spam complaint: marked as spam — do not send again. |
| Block | fepli blocks an address when the person unsubscribes through the link in an email, with and without the app. Undeliverability and spam reports are only noted as an event, without blocking the address. |
| Consequences | fepli sends no more emails to the address, neither system emails nor mailings. An email to several addresses goes to the others. The account can still sign in. |
| Exceptions | Emails that lead into the account still go out: the sign-in link, the password link and the confirmation of an address, and also emails the person asked for themselves, e.g. to withdraw from an offer or to delete the account. Where mail leaves through Brevo, Brevo holds these back as well until the unsubscription is lifted. |
| Lifting | Lift unsubscription on the tab Unsubscribed contacts, or in the account through Activate email address (Accounts); the person can also sign up again themselves. |
