Web statistics

With the app Web statistics, Plausible counts the visits of the website, and the admin panel shows the numbers.

Feature	Content
Access	Shared link of the dashboard: “From Plausible › Site Settings › Visibility › Shared Links.”
Trusted instance	The link must start with https, be at most 2048 characters long and point to a Plausible instance the installation knows. These are `plausible.io`, the hosts of the installation setting `ferienpass_admin.plausible_hosts` and the host of the link the installation sets. Otherwise the message “Please enter the shared link of a Plausible this installation knows ({hosts}), starting with https://.” appears.
Set by the installation	If the installation sets the link, the card shows Switched on with a lock, and the link cannot be changed here.
Connected	Website and admin panel load the script of Plausible, provided the installation supplies it. The sidebar shows the entry Web statistics under System. The page embeds the dashboard of Plausible and loads its script only from the host of the saved link. If the saved link does not point to a trusted instance, including one saved before this check, the page answers with 404.
Disconnected	Website and admin panel no longer load the script; nothing is counted. The entry Web statistics is omitted, and the page can no longer be reached.
Visible to	All admins see the page Web statistics.

The app shows itself as a page of its own in the admin panel with an entry in the sidebar.
