Delete a participant
If a participant's data is no longer needed, delete it. Their registrations are kept in pseudonymised form for places, statistics and receipts.
Prerequisites
- Role View and create participants.
- If the person demands erasure under the General Data Protection Regulation, use Handle an erasure request instead. Only there is the erasure linked to the request.
Steps
- Select Participants.
- In the search field, enter the name, e.g.
Alex Beispiel. - In the participant's actions menu (⋮), select Delete.
- Read the notes on the registrations and open fees.
- If the dialog mentions open fees, close it. Settle the fees, e.g. with Record a cash payment, or remove the payment obligation. Then open the dialog again.
Warning
Deletion cannot be undone. fepli sets registrations for upcoming offers to withdrawn without notifying the family; the places go to the waiting list. Open fees can no longer be settled afterwards.
- If the dialog mentions consents that remain in force, turn on the consents the person withdraws with the erasure.
- Select Delete participant.
One fee is still open. After the erasure it can no longer be billed, because the registration then belongs to no account. Bill it first or remove the payment obligation.

The dialog shows only the notes that apply to the participant.
Result
The participant's personal data is deleted. Consents without a tick remain in force. The log of the data subject rights records the erasure under the identifier; the name does not appear there.

| The dialog reports “Processing restricted”. | Processing is restricted for the participant or their account. Delete only if the person demands it themselves, and then through Handle an erasure request. |
