Offering a course with several dates and two groups
In the summer holidays 2027, the Sportverein Elmsbrück offers a canoe taster course for children aged eight to eleven. The course covers three mornings in a row and, because of high demand, runs a second time the following week with a new group. In the end, families select one of the two weeks on the offer page, and each week has its own places. You need about 30 minutes; you do the last step as soon as the team has published the offers.
What you need
- An account of the account type Organizer that is assigned to the organizer profile “Sportverein Elmsbrück”.
- The editing phase of the season “Summer holidays 2027” is running.
- The offer

Step 1 – Enter the first morning
The three mornings form one course, and everyone who registers takes part in all three. So you enter them as dates in one offer: one registration applies to all dates and takes up one of the eight places.
- Select Offers, and in the row
Canoe taster courseselect the actions menu ⋮ and then Edit. - Open the page Dates & places.
- In the section Dates, select the row Choose date and time.

The row now shows “Mon, 02.08.2027 · 09:00–12:00” and the duration “3 h” on the right. The header shows “Mon, 02.08.2027, 09:00” under Date.
Step 2 – Enter the other mornings
The mornings follow one another day by day, each at the same time. Each morning is a date of its own in the same group, and a date only fixes a day and a time. For families and places nothing changes: the registration still applies to all three mornings.
- Select Add date. The dialog Date and time opens.
- In the calendar, switch to August 2027 with Next month.
- Select the 3rd.
- Enter
9as Start. - Move to End with Enter and enter
12. - Select Done.

- Select Save.
The second morning in a new row.
The page now shows three rows for 02.08., 03.08. and 04.08., and the header additionally shows “· 3 dates” under Date.
Step 3 – Create a variant for the second week
The second week is a new group. If it were additional dates in the same offer, every participant would be registered for both weeks, and both weeks would share eight places. A variant is the same offer on other dates, with its own places and its own participant list; families register for one of the variants.
- In the section Variants, select Create variant.
- Select Save. Only then is the variant created.
The section Variants on the page Dates & places, in front of it the new variant before the first save.
You now see the page Content of the variant with the note “Variant of offer ID {ID}. Not all fields are editable.” The variant takes title and description from the main offer, even if you change them there later. The variant sets Age from and Age to itself by default; it starts with the values of the main offer.
Step 4 – Date the second week
The variant has taken over the three dates of the main offer. You move each of them by one week. The times stay as they are when you change the day.
- Open the page Dates & places of the variant.
- Select the row “Mon, 02.08.2027 · 09:00–12:00”.
- In the calendar, select the 9th.
- Select Done.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 for the row of 03.08. with the 10th and for the row of 04.08. with the 11th.
- Select Save.
The first row of the variant while it is moved. The ID in the note is an example.
The variant now shows rows for 09.08., 10.08. and 11.08., and the header shows “2 of 2” under Variant.
Step 5 – Set the places of the second week
Each variant has its own places. In the second week a second coach joins in, so this group gets ten places, and the first week keeps eight.
- Open the page Registration.
- Under Places, enter
10at Maximum places. - Select Save.
The page Registration of the variant, and then the table Variants.
The table Variants on the page Dates & places now shows “0 / 8” places for the first week and “0 / 10” for the second.
Step 6 – Submit both weeks
The main offer and the variant each have a status of their own. The team reviews and publishes each week separately, and a week appears on the website only when the team has published it.
- In the variant's header, next to Status, select change and then Submit.
- Open the page Dates & places.
- In the table Variants, in the row of the first week, select open.
- Next to Status, select change and then Submit.
Each week is submitted separately: the variant on the left, the first week on the right. Below them the page Dates & places of the variant.
Both weeks now have the status Submitted and wait for the team's review.
Step 7 – View the weeks from a family's point of view
On the offer page, fepli shows the published variants side by side so that families can select the matching week. You do this step as soon as the team has published both weeks.
- In the header of the first week, select View offer page.
- To promote both weeks together, select the menu ⋮ in the header and then Copy group link.
The header of the first week and its offer page. The design of the website is simplified and depends on your instance.
The offer page names the three mornings of the first week and, under “Alternative dates:”, both weeks with date and age. Anyone who selects the second week there registers on its page. The group link leads to the website's offer list with both weeks. There the first week shows “Mon – Wed, 02. – 04.08.” and the second “Mon – Wed, 09. – 11.08.”, each with “each 09:00 – 12:00” and the note “+ 1 alternative date”.
What you have achieved
The canoe taster course now runs in two weeks of three mornings each. Each registration applies to all mornings of a week, and each week has its own places and its own participant list. On none of these mornings can a registered participant be registered via the website for another offer at the same time. You keep changing title and description on the main offer; you set Age from and Age to on the variant itself.
If your case is different
- If the second group has a different age, e.g. older children, enter a different Age from and Age to on the variant in the section Conditions: Offer form.
- If the mornings start at different times, enter the own times for each date. A registration then also applies to all dates: Offer form.
- If the second week already exists as an offer of its own, make it the variant: Link an offer as a date variant.
