Send an access link

If a family or an organizer account is to see the encrypted data without anyone from the team confirming the access by comparing emojis, send an access link by email. You can send it to one account, to a selection, or to all accounts without access.

Prerequisites

  • Your tenant encrypts.
  • Account type Admin, and you have access to the encrypted data yourself.
  • Your browser is unlocked, and you stay signed in until all links are sent.
  • You have decided that the link is enough here: nobody checks who opens it (The access link).

Steps

  1. Choose Accounts.
  2. In the actions menu (⋮) of the account, choose Send access link. For several accounts, tick them in the table and choose Send access link above the table.
  3. Read the note The key is created unobserved and adjust the Email text.
  4. Choose Preview.
  5. Check the email and choose Send link.

The actions menu of an account, in front of it the drawer Send access link with the text and the preview of the email.

For all accounts without access, tick one account at step 2, choose Send access link, and in the drawer choose All {count} accounts without access.

Result

The drawer closes at once, and fepli shows “{count} access links are being sent in the background.” Your browser works through the accounts while you carry on, and reports “Access links: {sent} sent, {skipped} skipped.” at the end. The log records Access link sent.

Whoever opens the link and signs in is connected with this browser and sees the data at once.

If it does not work
